For me 2011 was one of the most happy and eventful years...of course there were downs as well as the ups, but overall 2011 was very, very good to me and my family..
The biggie was of course getting married. We had the most special day, a memory to be treasured always . As we were married abroad, it would not have been half as special without our families and dearest, closest friends there to share it with us, for that I'll always be grateful to them, for making it so very special.
As life goes, people come and go from your life, people who you think of as acquaintances one time, become good friends, likewise good friends can do things and behave in ways which leave you simply stunned.
But I'm a firm believer in karma and positivity, at times it is tried and tested, but would we appreciate the ups if we did not have those downs??
I like my blog to be a 'happy' place, so I choose to blog about nice, creative and happy stuff, these are some memorable pictoral moments from my world during the past 12 months....

Best day of my life....I made most of the wedding related items and this Tiffany themed cushion I made whilst in Cyprus for Lovely Mum to give to her on the day...

A washout weather wise, but the garden and flowers thrived...

Making the most of the late summer and soon to be shortened days...tea and cake outdoors when rain stoppage permitted...

Evenings spent watching the sunset at Potima Bay...my favourite place...

A group holiday to Majorca...fun, busy and memorable days...

Long winter nights warmed up by the fire in the village pub...

Christmas spent relaxing under the glow of our huge tree with a good read and something sweet...bliss...
